No more book shelves or space for more books

Now all gone
Now only have Smiths and Waterstones
No independent bookshops

I've just joined overdrive to get books from my local library. More books to read, I hope I can find the time.

I have not bought a book in many years. I live in a condominium complex, and downstairs there is a large room which was built as a library. People, including myself, take books, jig-saw puzzles, CDs, DVDs, etc down to it. There is a lady who has taken upon herself the task of organizing everything in a neat and orderly fashion. I take out books by the bagful and return when I've read them and get more. Because there are a lot of elderly people living there, more books come all the time in as, unfortunately, they die.

I've never been to Worthing Daisy, I'm in Herefordshire, we still have quite a few independent bookshops here, especially Ludlow is teeming with them, but elsewhere they are starting to dwindle.

I kindle for reading for pleasure
Charity shop and Amazon for factual books but if they are not what I need or I find a better one on a subject I donate them.
Self help books I kindle too to read in small bites when out and about. Waiting for buses etc. Used to have shelves full, now have about half a small bookcase of books i either use regularly or love to pick up and browse through.
