Confused

This guy started chatting to me at a nightclub last night. He's a good friend of a guy that I've just finished seeing on a casual basis, we finished things because he's decided to go back to his ex.

Back to nightclub guy, we chatted for about 2 hours getting on well, we then decided to share a taxi home and walked and chatted for an hour before we actually managed to flag one down. In the taxi he said he'd like to invite me back to his flat for a drink but prob wouldnt be good idea because his flat mate was getting up early for work. He also didn't ask for my number so didn't think he was interested but then he kissed me as he was getting out of the taxi - i'm very confused, any ideas?

Well if he didn't ask for your number... maybe it was just a cheap thrill. But he knows how to contact you (through your ex) so I would sit tight and wait and see. It could just be that when you go to a nightclub you like to finish the night off with a snog from a nice girl. Perhaps that is all it was?

Yeah but it wasn't even a snog it was just a kiss on the lips....weird.
