Have just chipped in with my twopenneth and noticed that it doesn't put 'Report this Answer' after the posts - have I hit the wrong key or failed to do so [more likely!!] & I probably should have put this under I&T for starters, but any ideas will be welcome. ps I haven't misbehaved , at least not that I know of, so I don't think I've been banned - cheers to all

Did you mean on your answer? It will only give - Report this answer - for other people because you can't report your own answer.

This happens to me too. Compare this to Jim Jools answer - and there is no "Report this answer"

The - report this answer - is showing on your answers ageing fast. You won't see it, because you can't report your own answer. It should show on my name but I won't be able to see it.

Thanks JimJools & ageing fast - I meant on other peoples' posts & now I find that your 5 replies haven't come through to my e-mail - not that it matters, I would check anyway, but it's rather odd

Hi there ageing fast - though I doubt you'll ever see this, it's buried so far back now, but yes I'm in Australia, Adelaide to be exact, so I'm usually turning in when you lot are getting stuck into it. I'm still none the wiser about my answers probably not being reported & replies to my posts not being reported to me, but then you can't have everything in this world, or so they tell me !! cheers, S

I think I've got it on Report this Answer. I think it is there so you can "shop" other people to the AB powers that be - and you can't shop yourself so you don't see this against your own answers.

I only get e-mails if I asked the question or if I subscribe to someone else's thread. I don't subscribe because I don't want to fill up my inbox. I just use My Profile to review Questions I have Answered - if I think that I might get an interesting response - which is how I now know that you are down under.

Hey, great to hear from you ageing fast -and g'day will do just as well. Thanks for giving me a bit of a handle on what's going on, it's only been the last day or so that it's happened and I've been around since early this year. Didn't know i could use my Profile to check out my mail - in fact never knew what it was for so never too old to learn !! Hope the weather's being a bit kinder to you, we badly need rain.
