I quite agree - what happened to sense of humour - it apears to have been replaced by sense of outrage. //
This has long been the response to any action seen as humorous by some, and offensive by others, and it has increased out of all proportion with the advent of social media, where far more people get to put stuff out there, and far more people get to be offended, and confirm that fact.
Personally, I never find the notion that because one individual finds something funny, that the response to someone who does not is to deride them for an absence of a sense of humour, is acceptable.
We see things differently, and people are as entitled to be offended as they are to be amused.
