Tip emmie, buy small packet of sliced cooked beef, place in dish, cover in gravy heat until hot in oven, ideal if on your own, and if a joint is to much for one. Works out cheaper to. :0)

TC, could do, i have been getting ready meals lately

Chopped steak, onions,carrots in slow cooker, family are out visiting so having a rest from the usual, going to do some mash with it, it smells delicious

emmie, you would get two beef meals out of one packet, and without all the cooking time, pots and veg take no time or fuss. Ready sliced beef would last a week in the fridge so no need to have two beef meals in a row.

We're having a fry up. Shopping doesn't come until Tuesday and we couldn't be bothered to go out.
