Carry that man shoulder high from the room!!!
Just about what you'd expect and why I don't read newspapers
The fact is, the media love shortcut terms to refer to its current pet projects.

BoJo, SuBo, SamCam, Brexit, Megixt, MediaWithItsHeadUpItsOwnFundamentIt ...

(hint - not all those may be factual)

a
its totally stupid...
It is - but it takes our mind off the occasional references to 'SamCam', the absurd moniker the Mail created for the wife of the then Prime Minister, in its ceaseless (and doomed to failure) efforts to make us all see her as an attractive personality, because it thought we should.
Crikey, you mean you don't fancy her AH?

is there a linguist out there ?
{* lingo-lert*}

chop wordz up - /zit/ or /gzit/ and then suffix them to other syllables (morphemes) -
unlike biochem or pharm - -ed is strongly bound because it renders virtually all verbs into the past
-s is very strongly bound - pluralises all nouns except six

-gate was used for any legal event with or without a cover up
we havent had arenagate ( an event to come - the cover up over the arena bombing) or london bridge gate

gzit is used ( as we cd guess) for any fleeing or precipitate departure
felicitous as g in Meg meets the g in eggzit - note : I dont think Harrygzit will catch on

when Ghosn fled Japan we didnt even have Ghosn - gone....
BoJo
yeah we have had SoHo ( south of houston) and tribeca - three boroughs something something
for a long time

the usual - if the dutch cap fits - wear it .... idea

I watched Suits from Episode One, and was always captivated by Rachel - not least the way she walked - Ms. Markel used to be a model, and has clearly retained the walk.

But she was playing a role then - a lot of her critics maintain that she still is.
I don't really mind, as long as it doesn't last anything like as long as Brexit. Not holding my breath however.
Can I offer up "Pedantripe" for those long, rambling, often unintelligible posts PP so frequently makes?
Yes...that's a good one.
