now finished today's cryptic, but again there's one clue not fully understood. 22a Portrayed butler as having gone with the wind round Birkenhead. ............ Fairly certain answer is ga(b)le, but can't see the significance of the
'' portrayed butler'' section of the clue. Can anyone please explain, as understanding the clue is equally important to finding the answer!
