Was it really a dislocated shoulder? She seemed to have recovered quickly by going on Dancing in Ice that night.

It seemed to have 'popped out' and then been very quickly popped back in again - painful but not that damaging as long as the joint was then stabilised with some strapping (which it was).
I think she got a big sympathy vote from the judges (and presumably the public too), since on any objective measure she should have been in next week's skate-off.
