Tooth Taken Out
16 Answers
Hi,I had a lower molar taken out on Monday,it’s now Wednesday and the pain seems better, but not sure cavity area is ok.I know it’s important not to disturb the blood clot/seal that forms so healing can take place, but mine seems to dipped significantly,it’s still there, but is no longer near the top of the hole-Is this normal? Only concerned because Google mentions ‘dry socket’

my upper and lower back molar were taken out 2 weeks today and I am healing ok. I was told not to eat on that side for the 2 weeks but I gently touched with my tongue and there is no pain. My dentist gave me a Mouthwash Em - it has anctibeterial(sp) (too tired to spell). But do rinse with warm saltish water. I have never had dry socket but believe it is horrendous so I think you will be ok.
emily - it hurt alright cos I kept asking for more freeze and whatever was in the freeze - I started to fit and my heart was beating out of me and there were no handles on the chair so thought I was going to land on the floor. The little assistant was trying to hold me down.
