There can be an overlap, of course, Apc. I've quite often been posting late at night (as it's still seemed to me), only to see the GMEB thread appear in 'Latest Posts'.

That's usually good news for me as, even if I don't want to join the thread myself, it means that I can leave Boaty to carry on zapping all the early morning spammers that I've already made a start on. (I hope he's back soon. We've not got many early morning moderators!)

Keep up the good work Chris! I eventually went to bed at 4.00am and have just got up. I was doing some research on got engrossed.

I also went to be at 4am but I slept rather than you, only getting up at 3pm.

I sleep quite a lot these days. I tell everybody that it's an after effect of a year of chemotherapy and radiotherapy but it's possible, of course, that I'm just a downright lazy old so-and-so ;-)

Ha ha Chris. My excuse is chronic pain and deteriorating health. I went back to bed and remained there today. I might get up at some time!

I love it Tilly. Always have been a night bird. As for the dark, we live in the countryside with no street lights and I love it. My brain works better at night too. I'm like zombie in the mornings, even if I go to bed early (before midnight). I love peace and quiet.

Last night I watched Roy Orbison on Sky Arts, followed by a bit of The RollingStones, came on AB. And stayed on line to do some research. Had a cuppa and a snack and watched a bit of Tele before going to bed. I rarely come on AB at night because OH is on the computer. Yes, he's a nightbird too. But he only needs a few hours sleep and gets up early!
