2 Answers
I have four of these gorgeous cushions which cost me and arm and a leg. They were cream but now rather grubby - anyone know if they can be cleaned and if so how? Keep meaning to calll in the dry cleaners and ask but haven't managed it as yet and thought some of you guys might know????

We once had a Mongolian sheepskin cream rug which got rather grubby.
I put it in the bath with some hand-warm water and liquid washing machine soap and swished it around gently, then rinsed it , let it drain away in the bath and hung it over the washing line in the sunshine to dry.
It came up immaculate, but the chamois type backing skin was a little hard afterwards, and I had a quite a lot of surplus hair to clean up from around the plug hole.
