Just had a phone call from daughter inviting us round for a BBQ on Sunday.
There will be daughter and husband, 5 grandchildren, their friends round the corner, dad his girlfriend, four children, his mother who has alseimers and OH and me. Should be an interesting evening. Really looking forward to it. Been a long time since a get together like this.

That will be so lovely, Caran. Long time til I can do it but tomorrow I shall be on the village green with fourteen other people. It's an official meeting which is allowed...but there may be some refreshments too! ;-)

Oh great! That's ruined it for everyone!

The forecast for the bank holiday weekend was looking surprisingly good for once but now Caran's daughter has gone and planned a BBQ. So that's Sunday's weather mucked up totally for everyone; it's bound to bucket it down all day now!

Lovely news, how exciting! I hope everyone has a great time. We went out for a meal for the first time monday. It all tasted so good! A little taste of freedom.
