morning everyone its another warm day in the capital and too much to try and sleep, how about you? I hope you are well and in good spirits. I had an interesting day yesterday, hopefully not to be repeated any time soon, as i got stuck on a train, what should have been a 20 minute journey turned into 2 and 3 quarter hours of sweltering heat. Everyone was held up so it wasn't just me.

September is a nice time to visit St Ives - after the schools have gone back and, dare I say it on here, a better class of tourist around the town.

Agree on seeing Boaty had been on.

Good morning all.

Had a cool couple of hours rowing in the Thames Estuary yesterday evening. My second go at it, courtesy of the local club, to suss out whether it’s for me. Not sure I like the idea of seeing where I’ve been rather than where I’m going!
