I haven't been in it for many years but I remember the heat and humidity seemed like a sauna.
Would it be the Tropics had natural conditions like that?

I remember my Nan taking me out to The Palm House in Sefton Park, Liverpool. We would take a picnic (well, actually some sandwiches and a biscuit!) and sit near the Peter Pan statue when warm, and decamp to the Palm House if cold.
They have one in Corporation Park at Blackburn & yes it was hot & humid. Sadly it's been badly vandalised in recent years - damn savages!
If you're asking if the tropics are like that - yes.
the tropics are indeed pretty tropical, but not necessarily humid; in some areas it may be dry heat.
Yes, the tropics are like that for the most part. Horrible! But those that live their are well adapted.
Live there!
