I've no idea how 10-year-old Jeffrey Li, from Canada, and 7-year-old Celine Tam, from Hong Kong came to be appearing together on Hunan TV's "Let's Sing Kids' programme in China but I do know that their performance caused such an internet sensation that NBC TV flew them both to their studios in the USA to recreate their performance there!
I hope that this will brighten your day as much as it always brightens mine ;-)
They both have brilliant voices and sing well together.
I tend to feel uncomfortable with kids in the spotlight at such an early age. If they want to perform and they enjoy it then all is okay. But there are parents out there who push their kids to succeed in an unhealthy way.
Thanks, Danny. When I first saw that video, I assumed that they were brother and sister and had been singing together for ages. When I found out that they weren't even from the same continent, I was amazed!
Aksel Rykkvin is already among my bookmarks, Peter, but thanks anyway! Cai Thomas is pretty good too ;-)
I've never seen the young boy before, but I remember seeing Celine Tam when she was 9 yrs old and appearing on America's Got talent.
Both are good singers.
