I think he means "Pinot Noir". Bless him. I wonder if he ever tasted wine before he met me...

Personally I'm glad he brought the Zinfandel.

When I met Dave his idea of a good wine was based solely on the abv. It did mean he accidentally found some cracking red zins, and shiraz, but the rest was a bit of an adventure

Aldi are doing a cracking Zin for £6.99, Rowan. Canyon Springs Old Vine Zinfandel, 13.5% ABV.

I like a full-bodied, juicy, jammy, meaty and complex red. I can't be doing with airy fairy wishy washy red wines.

There's just one thing to remember when it comes to wine - Red and from the Southern hemisphere.

Mind you, I'll make an exception for a good Chianti.
