Uncut stone (anag.)

i don't get it .anagram of what

Anagram of us to create

remove US from uncut stone - anag of contents.

Actually it isn't - there are no ns in that

Question Author

Exactly! And there are 2 Us in UNCUT.

clarify US equals  the two u's. ie, NOT US

I see it now - take u and u fron uncut stone anagrammed produces contents

Question Author

My brain hurts! Thank you.

I think Toorak has just explained it better than I did.

'contents' is an anagram of 'uncut stone' once you've taken the U and S out

Nearly  anagram of contents us but u missing

i'm going for a lie down x

U's not us...take the u's out works

Read us as u plural

That was devious! 😄

uNCuT STONE

The capital letters are an anagram of CONTENTS

I missed bhg's earlier post

Question Author

LOL, bhg481. So true.
