Perhaps it depends on the make of the socks. I buy m&s soft top ones because I find them very comfortable and mine dont go to sleep 🧦😴

Exactly mally. It's so frustrating and uncomfortable. The trouble is if I put elastic bands round the top, that defeats the purpose of having soft top ones in the first place.

These are from EWM. I will get some M and S ones, thank you Vagus.

You're welcome 😊

I buy them in the men's department even though I am a laydeeee 😉

Ahhh, takes me back - good old elastic garters like we had at school. ( just a piece of knicker elastic with the ends sewn together to make a circle.)

I was thinking the exact same, roopower! I remember the red rings they left

We buy Gentle Grip socks either cotton or bamboo, and they are soft but they stay up. Available in department stores, market stalls, and lots of online shops.

I get MediPeds from Amazon and they've been fine. But I imagine it's all down to how they measure their sizes, and the exact circumference of your legs.

So I suppose the answer is to keep trying different brands until you find one that is right for you. (It means that advice from people with thinner or fatter legs isn't going to be any use to you.)

Um... socks aren't alive, so aren't awake, so can't go to sleep.

Have some been failing to take their medication ?

Question Author

I have got some socks that don't go to sleep and they have got the Gentle Grip trade mark on them, so I've ordered some more from them. Isn't it strange though, how it happens, and it's both feet!

Thankyou for your comments though - excluding a few!!!!!
