TTT, please rephrase your heading in accordance with the Ed's request for clarity.  I have not a clue what 'B' stands for.  I'm closing this thread and will remove it shortly.

which bit is wrong? Surely "the chancellor" is ok??

Question Author

A B = answerbank

Sorry, TTT.  I've just realised that you're talking about AB.  With the gap between the letters it read differently.  I've re-opened your thread.  My apologies.

Question Author

You have to put it like that or it becomes Ab because of the way AB burgers about with headings.

Cross posted.

Yes, I know.  I just didn't read it like that.

Hopefully doubly sorry.

There are some that may have written a large paragraph of their great wisdom to share with other AB members only to see it dissappear on pressing 'Answer Now'; and should that have happened they may now be a bit miffed.

(A pity the web code doesn't save failed posts when a thread has been closed so victims can highlight & save afterwards, in case the opportunity to post later is available.)

'chortle'

One should always crush the embers left in the ashtray, leave no trace.

Thank you, OG.  A double apology was forthcoming - read my post at 9.30 - and wearing sackcloth and ashes as we speak.

Question Author

ok so is anyone going to have a go at the actual post or should I start again?

In answer to your question, I'm fairly confident the Chancellor isn't a member of AB.

Maybe she's just following Mrs Sunak's lead.

Well it appears that the forcasts are being redrawn that show tax will be lost rather than gained, together with the loss of investment in the UK.

Labour really dont have a clue, she is still to hammer "The rich" and guess what many are mobile or can easily get jobs elsewhere and they will.

Reeves it a total bone head wrapped up in envy and ideaology.

//Maybe she's just following Mrs Sunak's lead.//

Must admit I didnt get that one.  Wasnt Mrs Sunak a non dom and she gave up the status?  Is Reeves to do this too?

I'm fairly confident the Chancellor isn't a member of AB.

yeah but she cd lairk  ( norvern for lurk)

A few of my jibes have ended up on the news channels - but alternatively it cd be synchronicity ( two people think the same things independently - CG Jung said it was nt ( independent).

it is a bit weird when it happens tho

well if you are pretty sure that your post is going down the jarn anyway, control-A highlights all and control-C copies - so you can control-V ( paste) onto a blank email.

and then send onto the Editor which I think I did during the period of mod madness this morning - starting point "- It is not only me that is stir crazy, look at......"

Oh yeah. 0800 I wrote - Sajad Javid had been on R4 with the view that tthe Treasury Team had not changed  only the "here today and gone tomorrow" Head - him once - so they wd generally give the same advice for a repeated idea

and if there was a tax hike it is natural for people to react to minimise it ( which is lawful - "every man can adjust his affairs to pay the  least tax" Judge Poncey 1962 )

In answer to old geezer @ 09.41, that happened to me yesterday with a post from TTT. Typed my reply, pressed Answer Now, but the OP had disappeared, along with my reply, into the AB ether!
