The Valadity of a petition demanding a General Election was a put up job then ,after dicovering many of the people who signed this  petition are from  people living in Spain and other EU Countries, also Australia UAE and many other Countries around the World ,even China.Just another Con job.There is NO Way this petition will trigger a GE .So it's back to the drawing board for the Opposition party then 🤔!

The fact that this site tolerates trolls, that it allows and encourages the blatant spreading of lies (in this case in the title), that it allows patently false statements in the posts to remain and repeatedly allows the same person to make unfounded and derogatory statements is a mockery of its own Site Rules. Sad, because this was once a legitimate question and answer site.

Is that right? Out of interest how many of the 2.8 million (may well be over 3 million now) were from other countries? As the threshold is only 100000 then maybe 2.7 million were from foreigners. Thanks TTT, although I knew that really. Fewer than 1% are from overseas (perhaps not far out of line from the proportion of GE voters who were expats)

I don't think folks are upset about the petition per se. They fully understand its purpose & likely (lack of) impact. The upset is with the spin that the OP tries to put on it with his usual twisted outlook. We shouldn't rise to the bait - but hey....
