Some 5/6 weeks ago my name and address featured in the list of consolation prize winners and the indication was that I would receive a pocket edition of Whitakers Almanac. I have received nothing. Is this par for the course?

I won a consolation prize of a Whitaker's almanac quiz book a couple of years ago. It was several weeks before I got my book also (certainly at least five weeks).
If I remember correctly somebody posted a similar question at the end of last year, although they'd won the pen and had waited several months before they received their prize.

hi, I have had two almanacs and 5/6 weeks is about the witing period, give them a few days after the Easter break then e mail to see where it is. I had to chase up a jamie Oliver tea set from the express last year I do not think I would have got it if I had not pushed.
well done for the almanac anyway

Won main prize once and two pocket almanacs -- waited 4 to 5 weeks in each case. These prizes do not come from Telegraph but from The Stationary Office ( publishers of Whitaker's ). Pens tend to arrive quickly ( unless they run out ). Telegraph sends these out. Hope you hear from them soon -- and have other successes.
Best wishes.
