Will a Betta / Siamese Fighter need oxygen pumped in tank?
4 Answers
I am about to seperate my betta from my large tank into a tank of his own. His current tank has oxygen pumped into it. As they breathe from the surface of the water, is it necessary that I pump air into his new tank or is it better that he just takes it from the surface himself?
I will be putting a filter into the tank.
Thanks in advance.

This means the Bettas can live in very poorly oxygenated, stagnant waters such as paddy fields.
This obviously doesn't mean that water quality can be left to deteriorate !
