Is there a mistake in this crossword? They say 15 clues to be altered, but I can only detect 14. Is it my mistake?

I haven't got that far yet, but a previous posting said the same thing - only 14. I'm almost there and looking like 14 to me too.

Thanks. I didn't notice the previous posting. Still not sure what the point of the crossword is, but shall work on it some more now.

Definitely only 14. Still can't relate title or unclued answer to the adjustment necessary, i.e. the shift of the same letter in those 14 to form new words but at least I've managed to post it.

To gco2005 - I have virino as answer to 11 across. No T anywhere there to transpose.

and as you say there not in it and virino fits the clue better than virion
