Beginner to homebrewing
Wonder if anyone can help. I'm totally new to this and am looking at what equipment I need. I'm wanting to bottle the beer and crown-cap it to condition. I've seen something called a little bottler which looks a useful tool to own if bottling.
Do I need to siphon the beer into the bottles straight from the fermenting bin, or is it best to siphon to a barrel and bottle it from there after a week or so of the second stage of fermentation?

Good info at : http://www.beertech.co.uk by the way fro supplies etc
Best suggestion I would say for advice is 'cleanliness' - if there's muck there's a problem......
Have fun!

I'd forgotten about this question tbh. I've already got my first brew into fermentation! I joined an excellent forum as below and got loads of good advice, enough to get me started. worth a look if you're into brewing.
