Helpful or not, if you are capable of drink driving, you dont deserve your license back, let alone early!

The problem with drink drivers is they have a tendancy to kill or maim someone else. I would be quite happy if they just did it to themselves.

Just think how you would feel if you killed a child.

i thought that if someone was banned for drink driving they had to undergo a series of blood tests prior to having their license reinstated and also , they had to take a re-test, if they don;t they should, never mind a fine, it's easy to pay a few hundred quid, not so easy to get sober.

No it aint funny. I never hurt no one and i have done my punishment of community service, name in the papers etc etc...

although you never hurt anyone, you must have been considered serious to have your license removed for 3 years and community service and your name in the papers.

Hi niel now dont get me wrong I am not proud of this but around 10 years ago I succesfully appealed to get my licence back around just over 2 years into a 3 year ban for my 3rd d an d offence even though a soliciter told me that I had no chance.

But I stuck to my guns and went back to court to get it back and I can always remember my parting words to the magistrates when they granrd me my licence back.

They were thank you for giving me this chance and I promise you that I will not let you down on your desicion and I have stuck to that promise.
