Got my quiz back - and have done your favourite trick - written a wrong letter down in one of the more obscure words - so ninety-nine and a half. Grrrrr.

Anyway, it was to say that I have not yet had the results.
Sorry that you missed the 100% for irritating reasons. It must be the same in my case because I was confident of every answer and checked the spelling, etc. ad nauseam.

naomi I meant that I had answered your message but it hadn't appeared on the site for some reason.
It gets worse: I got only 99 this time. I put REVENUE instead of REVENUES (can't even count the letters now) and THE PIE MAN instead of THE TIN MAN. As you say, grrrr...though my second was an actual mistake rather than carelessness. Back to the gin. Cheers.
