Thanks everyone, am gonna try it. And thanks Boo, gonna try and be me biggy bravest for that day, dreading it but me Mum wunt want me to be upset would she ? Blummin am tho, it's awful, in the space of 12 months I have lost me Mum, me marriage and hit the menopause,at which I have realised it's too late to have children.Would have LOVED them but ex stamped on that idea, I was the stupid woman that thought I could change him. Lost 2 babies and now feel like ****. Then cos of all that fell into a relationship I had no right to be in,just for comfort ,but fell for him big time,and I mean big time,never felt emotion like it.It's over now, which is killing me. Don't deserve any sympathy for that tho, I know it but that doesn't make it easier, am 44 and have never felt for a bloke like I feel for him. It hurts so much.

Well if it helps any Caveman (you're a woman? LOL) I've had a terrible year too.

1- Hubby lost TWO, not one...but two jobs.
2- I broke my wrist and spent all summer in pain and with a cast on.
3- Had to rehome my dog because he bit my 2 yr old.
4- My teen daughter lost twin boys at 21 weeks- so we had that to go through- funeral etc
5- Hubby's uncle died.

So all in all- its been a crappy year all round really- all ya can do is keep grinning (or else ya scream) and pray that things get better.

So sorry to hear all that Boo,wot a blummin year 4 both of us ay ? Wots upset me most is that my ex was so horrid 2 my mum in the last month she was here,just cos she had a hospital appointment and was 2 scared 2 keep it cos she knew what was coming,he was supposed to take her and when he turned up to take her she said " I've cancelled at I didn't go and see her,just to protect her from him and I nevr saw her again. I have 2 live with it 4 the rest of my life,the last time I saw her she said " Aren't u coming in love " and I said " No Mum,I've just brought your loaf " When all along it was because I was terrified my ex, who was sat in the car outside would come in and upset her.

Cavey- I'm sure you're mum is up there looking down on ya remembering the good times you had together, not moments like the one you described.

honestly, as naff as it sounds, you have to believe that the good times are what count- not the crappy ones.

here's hoping your 2008 is as good as what I want mine to be!
