hi dot just read your little story regarding your son i wouldnt worry to much my family were not pleased when i became a docker but i worked my way up and became a cheif clerk in the harbour so you see from a small start i became a big cheese i will have to s ign myself big head by the way if there is any mistakes then i am sorry just had a few drinks

Loadsa money -my ex worked on the cranes at Perth Harbour then had his own Mechanical Engineering business there -worked for Calport and NES -they might be familiar names to you.
His best mate was the Harbourmasters Assistant -he probably still is.

Good for you -its a tough job but the craic is good -theres always something going on at the harbours -although Dundee is a port and is huge compared to Perth.

hi i assumed you were from dundee i was born in watson street very poor but made it in life dockers now a days dont know what hard work is i have a feeling i know who you are talking about as for dundee thank god i got out when i did this lot are only interested in closing dundee just look at the houses being built

I barely recognised it the last time I was there -I worked for BT for 22yrs in Ward Rd -but after I took my money and scarpered I usually just go into Perth -its handier for me.

Its tough work -he worked there 20yrs ago and not only was it very hard work it was very dangerous.He latterly worked for the RNLI.

Its a good feeling when you achieve something in your personal life -specially reaching the pinnacle of your career.BTW -is Watson St in Lochee?

I dont like what they have done to it -I was in a couple of weeks ago and I was like OMG -what happened to that -when was that built -its strange when you travelled the same road for all those years.

Watson Street is still there.
Dris was asking the location of the street. It is the other side of the Arbroath Road, located near baxter park.
Just up from Ferry Road.
Most of it is Sheltered Housing now.
Dundee has changed beyond recognistion now and not for the better.
Every piece of land swallowed up by property developers. That is only for starters.
Suppose it is like every other city.
