No matter how much you love your children, no matter how cute they are and no matter how much you enjoy watching them grow in to tiny adults, do you still get annoyed at hearing them sing out of key and, basically, quite dreadfully?

Or is this all part of actually being a parent?

I certainly did!!!
It's damn cute on little kids, infact im quite sappy hearing Mini Boo sing, she's so proud of herself, I often get teary. It aint so cute when Teen Boo sings, she sounds just like I do when I sing, like someone is swinging a cat round by it's tail, and it's very embarrassing.
Bless- it must be hard for parents tp keep a strraight face sometimes!
Or is like when a parent thinks their baby is the most beautiful even when it looks like a monkey?!! Maybe parents always think that their kid is the best at everything!!
hehe - My dad used to be ever so nice about the cooking a brought home from school - yuk!!
That would explain it during private "functions", but what about those kids you see in shows like Britain's Got Talent? Are the parents really completely blind (and deaf), or just extremely cruel to let their child humiliate themselves in public?
A stint in the Institut Villa Pierrefeu would sort that out for Mini-O
CRUEL!!
Sometimes you see the kids, or even worse teens, who have been told constantly that they are good and truely believe it - its not fair, i think some parents try to live their own life through their children. Good or bad!!!
I was going to ask about Eastenders too haha :)

I think it's cute as long as it's not overkill. My two little cousins gave us a rendition of a veeeeery lengthy song one Christmas and it was definitely cute for the first 10 mins or so though, to be fair, I did then get distracted trying to break up a sisterly war about who was singing what.
Abdul, I have been subjected to my daughter and niece playing SingStar on the Playstation and it's sometimes excruciatingly bad. I love them with all my heart but that doesn't stop me wanting seal their wailing orifices with gaffer tape!!!
My 2 boys aged 10 and 7 are always messing about dancing and singing and it does get annoying,

But hand on heart, when my 7 yr old sang the Leona Lewis song "A Moment Like This" on karaoke at his birthday party, I was welling up
