Please help ;- How many riders in a speedway team ? I have seen varying numbers given for this and have no idea which to choose !!!!! P

From the BBC's speedway site:

..Both teams consist of seven riders, in a league or cup meeting there will be 15 races (heats).
..Each heat has four riders, two from each team and they will race over four laps, the winner scoring three points, the second place two and the third, one point.
