What is a good thing to eat 5 hours before a workout in the gym? Something that would satisfy hunger but would'nt sit too heavily in your stomach. Want a change from bananas. Thanks
1.5 - 2 hours before using the gym is fine. Have something light, like Protein and green vegetables. If you want some complex carbs too, then a small portion of brown rice or wholewheat pasta.
Lots of guys at the gym I work at will have a food a couple of hours beforehand and a Protein shake directly after their session.
