Why wasn't that 8 year old boy competing today? he won for the past 2 days so I was wondering why?

I caught the end of Countdown yesterday.He didn't win yesterday.The boy got the conumdrum but he lost by 7 or 8 points.

He was grounded :P

yeh he was so gd wasnt he? he lost by 9 points :(
