Rambler leaders required
2 Answers
I am looking for a few freelance 'ramblers" who would be able to organise and lead several walks and rambles around the UK - I am setting up a new social networking agency, and " rambling" will be one of the events we would like to host.
Any ideas would be welcome.

Why do you think there is a need to set up a new one ?
If you are trying to aim it at young people the Ramblers already have a 20s to 30s age walking group, so that is already well served.

Also, not wishing to be boring, but if you are going to help organize or get people to lead rambling trips then you will need to make sure the leaders are covered by insurance.
If someone dies or is injured on a rambling trip then the leader (or you) are likely to get sued so you better make sure you are fully insured.
You also need to make sure they are first aid trained, and CRB (Criminal Record) checked.

To be honest, if you do go ahead with this I would align yourself to the Ramblers rather than trying to reinvent it all yourself.
