 A day for remembering ......  does anybody have any recollections of what they did on the day war was declared over in europe ? Is anybody celebrating today , taking part in events id love to hear daughter doing project on ww2. thankyou

My Auntie is at the Town Hall today for the Mayors reception for the anniversary of VE day, though she is a little bit miffed that so much is being made of VE day and there is nothing scheduled for VJ day, which was the actual end of the war. She has a personal interest in this as her brother fought in Burma.
