ooo sorry i missed you jno! that sounds like an amazing vacation, can't wait to really have the chance to travel more, that is my intent when i finally retire, travel and spend time out of the tourist loop and enjoy a real long break. Have a great time in california!

goodness, two days in a row it's let me sign in... some problem here with my sister's computer and it doesn't normally let me in. It can't last. I won't have access in the sort of US motel I'm likely to stay in and our computer at home is stuffed too, so it'll probably be months before anyone hears from me again. If I'm not back by September, someone send out a St Bernard with a barrel full of Bailey's please.
