Cheap uk holidays

Hi, can anyone recommend a cheap uk holiday either a static caravan or chalet somewhere like norfolk or dorset or even cornwall, on a budget of 500.00, the cheaper the better as the 500.00 they have got to use is also for buying food. Thanks

I'm in East Anglia, so I might be able to suggest some options in Norfolk but some more information would be useful:

How many people are in the group? (It can make a big difference as to whether there are just a couple or a family of six!).

How old are they and what are their interests? (It's not much use suggesting a bird-watching holiday, in the middle of the countryside, for people who only want funfairs or bingo by the sea!).

When can they travel? (If they're restricted to the schiool summer holiday period it obviously restricts the options).

Have they got a car? (It's pointless suggesting a campsite miles from a station, or from the nearest tourist attractions, if they haven't).

Funnily enough, someone showed me a copy of The Sun this morning. From tomorrow, you can collect tokens and pay just �9. 50p pp, for caravan holidays in loads of places throughout the country. She took one 2 years ago in Norfolk, then went to Cornwall last year. She's going to go on another one this year because she says they're so good. She made up a party of 4 - which I think's the minimum numer of people per break, and you can choose from long weekend breaks or 4 nights mid week. I think that's a bargain!
