remote central locking keys

after replacing the key battery how do I programm the remote key for a ford focus 2000?

I do belive you have to have the Master Red Key.

Yes, use the red key to start up, then shut down, remove the red key and almost immediately [within about 15 seconds] insert the black key and restart the engine.  That should reprogramme your key.  Good luck.
