i reuned my tv on 2nd december for the switchover, and had no problem getting all the channels, hiwever when i tried to record something on my dvd i couldn,t as i am not getting a signal. does anyone know a reason for this. i had no problem whe i retuned in november. i would be grateful for any help.

probably because you need to retune the DVD recorder as well as the TV - the TV and DVD both have a tuner which needs to be retuned for the switchover.
