We used to be on ntl broadband but moved house and are now with BT. Is it still possible to access my old ntl e-mail account?

If you have all the details, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to access an NTL account from any other ISP. I'm pretty sure that you can do it via a "Hotmail" like set-up. Whether your account will still be active if you are not paying NTL any longer is another question...

I had the same thing happen.

Once NTL finally close your account you mail goes too. But even if they are not you ISP I was informed by them that 'for a few pence' I can keep just the mail 'alive' but you need to inform them asap.

To quickly check if your email account is still active you can access it via http://webmail.ntlworld.com.

This is one reason why it's handy to have an email account that you can rely on that's not tied to one ISP...
hotmail, gmail etc.

A bit too late for these circumstances but maybe someone else reading this will organise themselves for a future house/ISP move?
If you use 3rd party email software like 'Pegasus' you can store all your emails on your hard drive no matter which your ISP.
