skechers shapeups

Anybody bought these and are they any good - I think they are only for walking but I am looking for a good pair of running shoes (for treadmill) with perhaps shock absorbers etc. Thanks for any replies

Read a book called Born to Run - it's a good read anyway, but some of the information about NOT needing shock absobers etc is fascinating.
