Finalizing DVD's on a recorder other than the original
2 Answers
I have just had to dump my old DVD recorder ( an LG recorder that took -RW discs ) as it will cost more to repair than to buy a new one. My problem is that I have over 60 DVDs that I have recorded stuff on and would like to keep that have not been finalized. My question is can they be finalized on any new recorder ( as long as it too takes -RW discs ) or are they now useless? Thanks in advance for any help that you may be able to provide.

If you purchase an LG recorder as a replacement, the discs might work. Sorry I cannot be of more help. These guys might help http://www.avforums.com/
