No - I used to have the job of Far East brand manager for a certain well know Oil Co as well as a wedge of other marketing functions. Dealt with the then Ted Bates (BSB), Saatchi, Dentsu Young & Rubicam and O&M - before we consoldiated the whole lot.....

Mate of mine was creative director for Bates in HK and ended up on Madison working for McCann before he was moved on for so-called tea-bagging.

Visited a couple of the agencies on Madison so thats why I was there - when I was out on the street I ran into someone who had been at school with me, same house, but 4 years older than me. Inevitably, we retired to a bar.

I don't do graphic arts but I do draw buildings to commissions...use Copic needle pens.

Just trying to remember the films on Mad Av - (i) Mel Gibson and Holly Hunter where Mel ends up x-dressing and (ii) that wonderful spoof on the business when an agency is set up for advertising the truth. "Cigarettes - they kill" - it was hilarious......

yes I am out of it to - ahd some interesting ad related work in the States on customer focus and new DM techniques - door handle marketing getting 30% uplifts.....imagine - and some interesting 'graphics' involved....
