this with you - well it made me smile. Four bright smiley little girls knocked at my door and said they were collecting for the soldiers and could they wash my car? I haven't got a car and the drive was completely empty. They looked completely flabbergasted when I said Well you might find that difficult because I haven't got a car. What? Somebody without a car? I gave them a pound for their collection and they went away beaming. The boys were here and shouting they would keep the money for themselves. So what? It was worth a pound to see their little faces.
Coffee, various meds and a ciggie or 2. That, Star, is 3 courses in my book!
Followed by dinner between 9 pm and midnight. Nowt wrong with that and a bottle of wasing up liquid lasts for ages.
They are on the settee ttfn - mind you don't sit on them. And you know perfectly well I didn't mean washing up liquid. Today let someone else worry about that. Just celebrate - and I promise you I have not been drinking this early just feel good for some reason. It must be the sun.
Good for you, Star. You bring sunshine here even on a dull day. I am off to Big Sis's now for a decorating fest. 2 rooms to do - should be fun. The dog will end the day looking like a colour chart on 4 legs, the coffee pot will not get cold, the step ladders will be busy and the dust from the electric sanders will no doubt still be falling come Wedenesday. Happy days.
awwww star that was a lovely thing to do ...reminds me of a quote I heard " If you see somebody without a smile , give them one of yours " , It seems you did just that , and more, have a lovely day ! x
