Can anyone help with 59across?
Girl heard on a porch? (5) _ A _ O _
I'm sure it has to be Carol or salon, but have no idea how the wordplay relates to either of these.
Any help gratefully received

Thank you atrollope , perhaps (in fact I must be!) I'm being thick but I still don't understand the wordplay. I feel it's going to be very obvious!
