Would a Kindle bought on holiday in the USA, work OK in Sweden, does anyone know?

There wouldn't be much point in a portable e-reader that only worked in its home country.

Of course, if you get the wifi-only version then you'll depend on your own wifi and public access points instead.

You will have to depend of USB charging, or get a local mains adaptor.
