I'm curious as to what/who/why it was decided this was suitable for for prime time viewing - or do they assume all the people that matter are up town having fun on a Saturday evening and the rest of us are 'no matter'

It's just a more modern version of blind date and wasn't that prime time? It's just a harmless, funny show.

fair comment - I'd prefer something on a Sat night with a bit more substance tho - that's just me wanting something to relieve the Saturday night boredom :-)

I think it is a modern take on the "blind date" concept.
Judging someone on what they look like and not personality (as I have done), then they head off on the actual date.

I think the original Blind Date show failed too much to provide hooking up of couples, but made for entertaining viewing.

I think Saturday night on all channels is [email protected]'m on cable, so there are quite a lot. I can't stand any of these type of shows..even the ones that are talent shows. Yes it's a take on blind date but there are too many of them now, blind date back then was a new type of show.

I record programmes during the week, then watch them on a Saturday, if Im not out, or on this site. :-))

I think some women try too hard. I'm quite victorian in some ways, like women to dress to impress, but at the same time, I like to have an air of mystery.

Sometimes I could be quite happy with a woman with long dress showing a bit of ankle than showing her legs off in a short dress or skirt.

I never have liked the too much makeup look too.

Yes, single for a long time yet at this rate, ha ha !
