The dogs decided it was safer in the summerhouse with us :0)

We both love the rain when we can sit in the summerhouse in the dry.

We acquired the field about three years ago, I had to go through the gate with a chainsaw and carve a path through the brambles etc, nobody had been in there for 45 years, we had the garden for months before we found an old shed in the corner after cutting down hundreds of trees. its been a lot of work but its a lovely haven for us and the dogs. Its about 100 yards from our house. its actually very nice that it isn't attached to the house. we don't keep it manicured, we have the lawn mower out because we have just cut the grass for the first time this year. we let the hedges grow and left a few trees, its a haven for wildlife and the bird song in the mornings is almost deafening.
Wow, thats heavy rain! But lovely doggies, and if that was carakeel - cooee!
