Shutting Down

My computer (now six or seven years old) has just started to take ages to close down, and most of the time an "end programme ccSvcHst" comes up..Is there anything I can do to speed it up again? Thanks, John

There are mainly two ways to stop this type of occurring error so let us look at those :
Update Your Norton Application.
Click on "End Process" button to unfreeze your application.

OK Methyl:Compaq X86 based PC 86 family15 model 47 stepping Total memory 1536 mb (1000 added couple of years ago) Available memory 707.70 mb Total virtual mem 2.00 GB available 1.96MB.....Presario D:Fat32 CAP 5.99GB Free 2.32GB 38% Presario C NTFS cap 143GB free 119GB 82%.....Defragged regularly (when deemed necessary on checking)... I don't understand much of the above,but hope it helps ! John.

Desktop,Norton 2022(updated) Takes about twice as long as it did a few weeks ago (about 70-80 seconds) John

SHOULD have said Norton 2011 (updated to 2012) John

I also keep getting (about once a fortnight) a warning come up from Norton saying "error 3048.3" then "unable to find automated fix for this issue-open support website" Tried it a couple of times,but now I just ignore it!
