I wonder if that is because none knows the answer or none wants to respond/argue/criticise?

How many times has it been said - if you don't like it, ignore it?

I'd vote for an 'ignore' button - there are a couple of (real or imaginary) posters on here whose topics I don't respond to - be easier if they could just disappear from my feed ...

Afternoon Ena - I do think that certain posters simply want to comment for the sake of it, the topic goes untouched and then bedlam ensues (yes the usual cry of 'well it is chatter bank') seems to mean, ask about electric get answered in gas.

Perhaps we should have an 'unanswered post' topic or such because I'm sure some posts are missed by some, then occasionally we could pop over there to see if we can answer.
Totally impossible to do but it was just a thought.

Perhaps we could have the equivalent of the - Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad ( UCOS ) as in the tv series New tricks .

We could call it the - ' Unanswered and Open Posts On Answerbank '

They would be tasked to look at these posts and provide a response , in order to ensure that the original poster doesn't develop a complex , due to their posts being ignored .

But what happens if the only answer you receive is a stupid one from a user who gets banned shortly after? Happened to me once, so despite not being answered that question doesn't appear in the unanswered section.
