Just these two left.
25c Tilling machine which leaves spaces spaces between the furrows(3-6) ?i? P?o?g?,assume something plough.
30ac Coastal lagoon separated from the sea by a spit of land.(4) If other answers correct H?a?
Thanks both. Don't think Haff is right because i am sure 31dn is algarroba, making my a correct. If ard plough then was does that make 7dn for which i have A Posteriori.
I too have spent ages puzzling this one. The only light I have found is in the Dictionary of Ichthyology (???) where "haff" and "haaf" seem to be used as alternative spellings of each other.
I have just discovered that "haaf" is old Norse for "sea" or "channel". Seems like it could be adapted to mean the definition in 30ac doesn't it? Or am i pushing that logic too far? Anyway back to revision...
